SAP: Identifying Sessions
Posted on June 1, 2008 by Carlo Maglinao
There are millions of SAP users whose way to identify opened sessions is by clicking on the icons in the Taskbar, which looks like the image below. They also hover their mouse’s cursor to get an icon’s description. (Click to enlarge)

A better option is to right-click the SAPLogon icon, which is normally at the bottom-right portion of the screen, and see the sessions in their full description, with details on server, session number, client number, and user ID.

With this you can also click on Close Session to pop a window that will give you options to specify which sessions to terminate.
